Lladró said he considers Humanitas to be his generation's mark on the 50-year-old company. They still represent human life, as all Lladró figures do, he said, but they differ from other series in that all of the figures are nude, to give a timeless feel, and convey more poetic messages. "The themes of the new Humanitas line are more unique. They have more to do with the inspirations of humankind," Lladró said. |
